Goal: Get your team into Vyndra with the right roles so they can start contributing.
Who this is for: Admins, PMOs, or whoever owns the Vyndra account for your team. Free tier is single-user — to invite, you need Pro ($19/mo) or higher.
What you'll need: Email addresses for the people you want to invite, and a sense of what each person does (so you can pick the right role).
Vyndra's 9 roles, in plain English
- Viewer — read-only access; great for execs who want visibility without editing.
- Team Member — does the work; logs time, updates tasks.
- PM — project manager; runs one or more projects.
- Sponsor — accountable executive for a project or program.
- Program Manager — runs a program (a group of related projects).
- Portfolio Manager — runs a portfolio (a group of programs).
- PMO — sees everything, sets standards, runs governance.
- Executive — read-mostly with broad visibility.
- Admin — manages users, billing, and org settings.
You can change anyone's role later. Start permissive — it's easier to scope down than to grant access in a panic.
Steps
- From the sidebar, click Admin Console (only visible if you're Admin/PMO/PFM/Exec).
- Default tab is Users. Click + Invite User at the top-right.
- Enter their email, pick a role from the dropdown, and click Send Invite.
- They'll get an email with a link. Once they click it and set a password, they're in.
- Repeat for each teammate.
