Goal: Capture a project request (a "demand"), evaluate it, and either approve it into a real project or reject it — all in one place.
Who this is for: Anyone who has a project idea they want greenlit. Common for business stakeholders submitting requests, and PMOs triaging the inbound queue.
What's a "demand"?
A demand is a project request before it's been approved. It's the intake form for "hey, can we do X?" — captured so it doesn't live in someone's email or Slack DMs. Vyndra walks each demand through gates (sponsor approval, alignment review, budget check) before it becomes a real project.
Steps to submit a demand
- Sidebar → Demand Intake → + New Demand (top-right).
- Fill the form:
- Title — short name for the request
- Description — what you want and why
- Requestor — defaults to you
- Sponsor — the executive who'd own it (optional at intake)
- Estimated cost / value — your best guess
- Click Create Demand. It now sits in the demand pipeline.
Steps to triage (PMO/Admin task)
- Open the demand from the pipeline view.
- Click AI Triage (zap icon, top of the demand page) — Vyndra suggests a portfolio, sponsor, and reviewers based on the description. Available on Business tier and during trial.
- Apply or override the suggestions.
- Walk the demand through its gates (Sponsor Review, Alignment, Approval). Each gate is approved by the assigned reviewer.
- Once all gates clear, click Create Project to convert the demand into a real project.
